The year 2024 has been characterised by dynamic changes and new opportunities – not only in the world of technology, but also for us at the baseVISION Academy. As artificial intelligence and innovative technologies continue to revolutionise the way we work, one thing remains clear: people are at the heart of everything we do. The faster the world changes, the more important it is to focus on our employees and their development.

The baseVISION Academy is at the heart of our learning and development culture. It is more than just a place for training – it is the platform on which our employees can develop their talents, master new technologies and actively shape their professional goals.

Lifelong learning as a principle - not an option for us, but a necessity

The year 2024 has once again shown us at baseVISION that investing in continuous professional development is the foundation for our success. This is not just about learning new technologies, but also about developing soft skills and mental resilience – two topics that are becoming increasingly important in order to be successful in the dynamic IT world.

According to a study by the World Economic Forum, almost 50% of the employees will need to up-skill or re-skill by 2025 in order to remain competitive in their jobs. In the IT sector, this primarily involves communication skills, problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to new technologies.

These are skills that we already actively promote at baseVISION – through the individual learning objectives that we set together with our employees.

Development 2024

The positive development of our learning culture is also measurable. In figures, this means for us:

  • +10 Associate Certified compared to 2023

  • 4,200 hours invested in learning activities this year

  • 12 full-day tech workshops in which knowledge is transferred between the entire baseVISION team
